The fixtures that come with the machine should be coated with rust preventive oil for storage.
-
The jaws of the hydraulic testing machine are frequently used and are prone to wear. Excessive oxide scale can easily cause damage and oil leakage of the small piston. Therefore, the jaws should be cleaned regularly (preferably after each test).
-
The sliding surfaces in contact with the steel plate and the dovetail groove on the backing plate should be kept clean and coated with a thin layer of MoS₂ (molybdenum disulfide) lubricating grease periodically.
-
Regularly check the screws at the jaw area. If any looseness is found, tighten them promptly.
-
Regularly check the chain wheel transmission. If any looseness is detected, readjust the tension wheel to tighten it.
-
Regularly check for oil leakage in the main unit and oil source. If any leakage is found, replace the sealing ring or composite gasket in time.
-
Based on the usage of the machine and the service life of the oil, regularly replace the oil suction filter and filter element, and change the hydraulic oil.
-
When the machine is not in use for a long time, remember to turn off the main unit power. If the machine is in standby mode, the selector switch should be set to the "loading" position. If the switch is left in the "fast return" position, the solenoid directional valve will remain energized, which may affect its service life.
-
Regularly check the connection wires at the back panel of the controller. If any looseness is found, tighten them promptly.
-
After testing, if the machine will not be used for a long period, turn off the controller and computer.
-
The interfaces on the controller are one-to-one. Plugging into the wrong interface may cause damage to the equipment.
-
The power of the controller must be turned off when plugging or unplugging the interfaces on the controller.
