A: Corrosion Simulation

The primary function of a Salt Spray Test Chamber is to simulate the highly corrosive marine and coastal environments. By atomizing a sodium chloride (NaCl) solution into a fine mist, it creates a salt-laden atmosphere within the chamber. This mist is evenly distributed, ensuring that test specimens are uniformly exposed to the corrosive elements, just as they would be in real-world seaside conditions. The adjustable spray rate allows for customizing the intensity of the corrosive attack, catering to different product requirements.

 

It can replicate long-term exposure to salty air, sea spray, or even the splashing of seawater onto surfaces. This is crucial for predicting how products will age and corrode over time, enabling manufacturers to take preventive measures during the design phase.

 

B: Controlled Environmental Conditions

Besides the salt spray, these chambers offer control over other environmental factors. Temperature and humidity can be precisely regulated. It can be adjusted. The spray system of the test chamber is equipped with replaceable nozzle modules. Different modules can generate salt spray particles within different particle size ranges. By simply switching the nozzles, you can precisely control the salt spray particle size and carefully compare the corrosion conditions of the product under different particle sizes.

 

3.  During the testing process, how can I observe the real-time corrosion state of the samples? Will frequently opening the box to check affect the test results?

 

The test chamber is equipped with a high-definition anti-fog observation window. You can clearly see the sample state without opening the box. The observation window is also equipped with an adjustable lighting system to ensure a clear view.
